Since 2003
In 2003, the founder of Il Belvedere bought this unique piece of land characterized by its enviable ocean view and forestation. Taking a step away from the mass construction that rules the area, he worked with a group of architects to create a stage overlooking the ocean.
In December 2005 Il Belvedere was opened offering the chance to experience Punta del Este like he had when he first discovered it: quiet, natural and safe.
Today, Il Belvedere has a warm and trained team whose mission is to welcome and take care exclusively of our guests during their stay in Punta del Este.
